Multiple 8.4.2 ASA
Has anyone gotten a GNS3 project working with more than 2 ASAs where the ASAs don't lock up? I'm running GNS3 on a Windows 2008 Server with 16 GB of memory.
Info:
GNS3 0.8.4-RC2
ASA 8.4.2 1024MB RAM, 6 NICs, NIC model: e1000
Qemu Options: -vnc :"x" -vga none -m 1024 -icount auto -hdachs 980,16,32 (vnc is incremented by 1 for each ASA)
Kernel cmd line: -append ide_generic.probe_mask=0x01 ide_core.chs=0.0:980,16,32 auto nousb console=ttyS0,9600 bigphysarea=65536
Any help would be greatly appreciated

It shows a good step by step on how to get it done. I would recommend downgrading your GNS3 to something that is stable (a release before the one you're running).
I have run more than 2 ASAs on my machine (windows server 2008 R2, also on another Windows 7 box) with no issues. The qemu process does tax my cpu, but I can run 2 ASAs at 30-35% CPU and add server other routers to the topology with no issues.
Here is a detailed tutorial on how to install ASA 8.4(2) on QEMU.
