Lab 1 4.6 route point issue

Hi,

I am on lab 1. 4.6 needs to produce a route point to handle the incoming calls which are not assigned. But any time as I made it, when I display the route point that I made, the 'Status' and 'Ip address' were always shown 'Unknown'. When try a call to the route point, it was busy. I think the route point should be registered with the CCM, but it didn't. I would like know why it didn't. What's my fault?

Any idea?

thanks.

Jordan

  • Hello Jordan,

Did you attempt to reset the Route Point? This will most likely correct the issue, as the route point is an internal device to CUCM. Please let us know if this does not resolve the issue.

  • Hi,

Yes I did reset the route point, but the issue remained. BTW, I had made another route point which is used for IPMA, it was registered and worked just fine. This one just can't be awakened.

  • Hello Jordan,

If your route point is not registering, you should check all configuration, and you can also restart the CTI service through the Serviceability subsystem. If you are still not able to get the status to registered, you may want to try deleting the entry, and creating a new one.
