Cisco ACS 4.2 (90-day trial version)

Does anyone know what happens after Cisco ACS 90 days trail expires ? Can I reinstall it ? I have it running in my VM for Dynamips CCIE Sec Lab - training , not commercial use.

  • I am guessing ACS probably leaves some type of residual data on the machine after you uninstall it for tracking purposes to prevent people from constantly uninstalling/reinstalling to avoid purchasing licenses.

Have you thought about taking a VM snapshot of the machine prior to ACS installation and just keep reinstalling on the clean image as needed?  I am a R&S candidate and not an ACS expert, but you should be able to export/import the ACS config so you don't have to start from scratch every time...
