CCNP Workbook
Hello!
I wanted to let the community know that the BCMSN portion of the workbook is nice. I began working through it. Everything went fine until I got the the etherchannel part and that's where things began to crumble and I stopped. I didn't reset all of my previously trunked interfaces back to default and boy did that get messy very quickly. I had interfaces that were shut down, error message about not being able to bundle due to native vlan mismatches, mixing PagP and LACP negotiations, and many other fun errors. I have learned my lesson. [:O] ALWAYS reset your interfaces back to their defaults before building etherchannels if possible or it will get ugly! [;)]
I solved some of the requirements differently, but got the same results. For example I used the switchport trunk allowed vlan except 50 command instead of switchport trunk allowed vlan remove 50 command.
I didn't get the same output as the SG for VTP pruning when looking at the show interface trunk command. I'm not sure what's going on there, but I will relab it and see soon.
I wish the STP portion would have been a little more challenging. I blew right through that section.
I also solved the STP portion by using different commands, but it all worked out the same.
More later.

Hi Erick,
There are many ways to accomplish the allowed VLAN because the
syntax is very flexible. The final verification is the "show interface
trunk" though. If it matches what I have, then your solution is
correct.
