PIM Sparse Mode - Two responses from ping

I setup a configuration over FR with a single multicast path end-to-end.  When I joined a group with the "ip igmp join-group 239.1.1.1" I could ping it from every router in the path but the last router always got two ping replies despite only sending one ping message. Everything with configured with static-rp mappings.

 

Is there ever a time when this should happen?  Is this a bug or a configuration issue?

Check your routing table... I am betting you have to equal cost paths to the same location!
