IPv6 tunnelling


The question asked for an IPv6 tunnel between R1 and R2. Config below shows one end and it works. Ospf runs over it and i can ping from the network at one end to the other. 

 

The WB shows the command 'tunnel mode ipv6ip'. Would i be dropping marks here and if so why??

    Losing marks?  Only if the lab said one thing over another.  Otherwise,
    you can do it either way. 



    I would know the differences between the two (Ipv6IP has less overhead)
    so that in case the lab asks, you know the answer.  But otherwise, both
    work fine and it was simply a choice by whoever did the lab.  :)
