question about workbook Vol-1--vorack1 configs-pstn router why are there two ports defined.

I am going through the workbook
Vol-1.

 

In the pst.txt under vorack1
configs.

 

This is what I see. For each of the
Hq,Br1 and Br2 routers only one pstn interface is required. However on the pstn
router why are there two ports defined.

Comments

  • I don't know this topology in details, and I don't have full PSTN router config on this PC, but controllers you have highlighted are configured to transport data (channel-group), so I presume that they are used for data connectivity (FR, FR switch?)

    Only controllers with pri-group config are used for Voice
