"IPIP Gateway" task -> dspfarm registration issue

Hello,

I have an issue with my DSP farm which cannot register and stay in status "ASSOCIATION IN PROGRESS" .

I tried to apply exactly the Workbook solution to complete the task (see "IPIP Gateway" chapter) but without success... Does anybody have idea or feedback concerning this issue ?

Thanks,

SB.

  • I found this solution today : if you apply only the conf in the workbook, he "sh telephony-service" command shows that there's no DN allocation possible :

    VORack05R1#sh telephony-service
    CONFIG (Version=3.3)
    =====================
    Version 3.3
    Cisco CallManager Express
    For on-line documentation please see:
    www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/ip_ph/ip_ks/index.htm

    ip source-address 177.1.51.1 port 2000
    max-ephones 1
    max-dn 0
    [...]

    With "max-dn 0", CEM doesn't open socket to receive TCP connection for SCCP and that's why DSP registration is not possible (message "Cause Code: TCP_CONN_ERROR" in output of "sh sccp").

    If you enter command "max-dn 1" , the CEM opens TCP socket on port SCCP / TCP 2000 (try "telnet 177.1.YY1.1 2000" to confirm before and after entering command) and the DSP farm registers OK .
