Thanks IE, Passed R&S

Hi Members,

Passed my CCIE R&S Lab yesterday on my first attempt. A HUGE thanks to IE for excellent CoD, the IE forum and blog (I do not post much but read the posts regularly)

I was good at CCNP level and started studying for CCIE but realized that more time is needed. So, I left my job in May 2008 and dedicated myself for the achievement - studying around 15 - 18 hours daily with no gaps. Having my own rack helped me a lot to test and verify whatever I learned but the real difference was when I got access to Poly Labs and attempted two Mock Labs - 5 & 6. I did not use IE workbooks so I wasn't exposed to their ways of torture before.

Although I scored low in these labs that really helped me knowing my weakness (Speed, not understanding the HIDDEN requirements and carelessness). The good thing was that I was understanding the technology well. The REAL thing was much easier than these labs.

Good Luck to all.

  • Congratulations Mohammad!

I, too found Mock Labs 5 & 6 to be more difficult than the real thing.

  • Congratulations!
