IPMA with Voicemail.

Hi,

There's a question about IPMA with Voicemail that I havenot known how to solve yet:

Configure IPMA so the assistant knows when manager get VM, BUT the MWI on assistant's phone must go on only if assistant get his own VM message.

Any ideas about this one?

Thanks,

  • Hi,

not sure about the wording when you say "assistant should know when manager get VM" - does that mean an envelop sign on non-primary line? in this case you can try using the proxy line of the assistant's phone configured as alternate MWI under the manager's voice mailbox.

The command is "set vlan V <mod>/<port>" when the port is configured as trunk.

  • Thanks for your reply!

I had done the way you told. But I thought that there should be another way (as maybe the "envelop" = MWI!?!)
