ezvpn access to voice racks using router

Has anyone managed to get ezvpn connected to the voice racks using a router?

The ip address detailed in the user guide 24.176.176.136 doesn't seem to respond.

If I try using 99.21.228.36 (vorack-vpn.internetworkexpert.com) then it seems to connect and I get assigned a 10.0.0.x address but I cannot connect to anything...

Thanks

  • The 99.21.228.36 address is correct, and your router should indeed be assigned a 10.0.0.x address.  If you do a "sh crypto map" you should see that it is tunneling traffic from your local LAN to the rack network, 177.0.0.0/255.0.0.0 (or something like that).  What the rouer does is it PATs your local LAN to the 10.0.0.x IP, so you should be able to connect just fine.

I have, however, found instances where mine doesn't work on the first try.  It shows me as connected, but I can't reach anything either.  I have to disconnect and reconnect and it works.  Buggy.
