would like to ask some more spesific questions about qos on XR platform :

1.bandwidth remain percent X  - what does this command do execly ?

2.there are 2 type of police

       1.single bucket , single token

              policy-map NAME
                      class NAME
                          police <CIR><unit> burst <BC> <unit>   || percent <1-100>

       2.dual bucket , dual toke

               policy-map NAME
                   class NAME
                        police <CIR><unit> || percent <1-100> burst <BC> <unit> peak-rate <PIR> peak-burst<unit>

i do not understand  those 3 parameters (BLACKED BOLDED)

and also i will appriciate the differance between shape avarage and peak .... with all the little details =)

    In answer to your questions:

    1.  This command determines how unused bandwidth is allocated between classes, rather than specifying a commited percentage of the interface rate you may prefer to break down the unused percentage.  For example you may commit 30% of the interface rate to an LLQ for voice traffic and then break down the remaining bandwidth between two non voice traffic classes 50% each.  When there is no voice traffic the other two classes get 50% each and when there is 30% voice traffic they get 35% each.

    2.  Recommend reading this INE blog post on single and dual rate token buckets for all the gory details.  The percentage command sets a bandwidth for the policer based on a percentage of the physical interface bandwidth.
