ccnp routing question to mr / keith bogart
into your section " OSPF Default Routing, Introduction to Stub Areas "
you said that when asbr send default -information originate command , it send it as external lsa type 5 , and sub-type=2 with cost = 20 by default
r1 O*E2 0.0.0.0/0 [110/1] via 10.1.13.3, 00:00:18, FastEthernet0/0.13
[110/1] via 10.1.12.2, 00:00:18, FastEthernet0/0.12
r2 O*E2 0.0.0.0/0 [110/1] via 10.1.24.4, 00:04:29, FastEthernet0/0.24
r3 O*E2 0.0.0.0/0 [110/1] via 10.1.34.4, 00:19:22, FastEthernet0/0.34
r5 O*E2 0.0.0.0/0 [110/1] via 10.1.35.3, 00:21:32, FastEthernet0/0.35
r6 O*E2 0.0.0.0/0 [110/1] via 10.1.26.2, 00:22:11, FastEthernet0/0.26
now why cost = 1 into all ospf domain , and not be 20 as you said
?

Hello Mohamed,
If, in my videos, I said that default routes generated via the "default-information originate" command had a cost of 20 then I misspoke. They have a cost of one (1).
