debug ip packet not showing anything?

Hi,

I'm doing Vol1 SPAN lab on rack rental but my debug ip packet couldn't
see anything.

I even did ping to it's local interface yet my debug didn't show anything.

Something wrong?

Hi David,

Where are you logging to? If you are not logging to the console then you won't get the debug appearing on your console session.

Hi David,

Turn off CEF/fast switching on the interface, that'll push each packet to the CPU and then the debug will show it..

I tried both telnet and console session. Didn't work.

I think I forgot to turn on loggin console.

It works 'automagically'
