What is your least favorite feature, and why is it NTP?
Seriously, why is it a "cross your fingers and pray to father time."
I'm going through the labs and I feel as if this honestly is the most confusing section; It just doesn't work like some of the other areas.

Yes, Network Time Protocol. "Should be" ..but it's a royal pain
Why you think is difficult? It should be a very easy configuration and protocol. Sometimes I expierence if there is a great time diff that you need to reconfigure your NTP commands.
just curious how come my virtual router get time and date; all i got is clock timezone CET -5 0, but

where does time/date come from?
Most probably from the same hardware board on which you are running vrotuer.

you right; vmware time and router time did not match. 1 day apart; but then I noticed if I use timezone to match with vmware one, times match, almost.
