Building CCIE Security lab

Building the lab is quite expensive, so I am wondering if any of you could share your experiences of how you built your lab.  Did you buy all the equipment or was it sufficient buying a few bits and pieces?

I have been looking at this site which sells lab solutions...has anyone had any experience with them?

Thanks in advance

  • Hi,

for some stuff you can use GNS3, VMware is fine for ACS, ISE etc but you should remember you can find some problems with GNS, for example:  http://ieoc.com/forums/p/29441/241063.aspx#241063

I spent couple of days on this issue and at the I learnt that it just doesn't work on GNS3, so you should have access to real devices sometimes. In my case I'm using also lab at work and from INE. For full scale lab INE seems to be the best (cheapest) option

    regards

    Hubert
