HOW TO CONFIGURE SIP DELAYED OFFER?

Is there any command to force a Cisco SIP Voice Gateway (VG) router to use Delayed Offer. I am using IOS Version of 12.4(22)T on Cisco 2811 Hardware. The basic requirement is that to demonstrate that Cisco Router can be configured for both SIP Early Offer and Delayed Offer.

Pls Note that there is no CUBE component involved.

VG-A

destination-pattern 2001
session target ipv4:XXXXXXX
session protocol sipv2

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

VG-B

dial-peer voice 1 pots
destination-pattern 2001
port 0/2/0

dial-peer voice 1000 voip
destination-pattern 1001
session target ipv4:XXXXXXX

Comments

  • Start by reviewing the voice services VoIP section, then SIP.
    That section will allow you to make protocol level tweaks to SIP.
    Don't forget to look at the SIP-UA options as well.
