  • I also recevive NO LUN available for this target

    Any ideas

  • I think this is a lab issue.  I have had similar problems in the past.  I think LUN masking may need updating on the array.

  • Per Brian McGahan, this is an issue with the LUN Masking on the storage array:

    http://ieoc.com/forums/t/28880.aspx

If you can see the target in the Emulex application, then your config is correct.

  • Many thanks for that

Its been happeing a few  times  now i have re done the labs on different racks and get the same issue

i was starting to worry about my knowledge set

As i am newish to storage i want to see the Lun side of this.  INE when are you going to resolve this  as i want to  complete the traffic throughput tests.  I want to understand how disks are presented to servers

Also can you speak with your emergency ticket team,  there are no help at all at least there could have advised there was an issue as opposed to making me pull my hair out .  I have wasted at least 150 tokens on this issue
