Volume 2 - Lab 1 - Task 2.3

While doing the Lab 1 on Volume 2 WK I am having some issues with the AS_54 being shown as inaccessible from R5 perspective. Let me paste the output here:

  • Hi thiago,

    who is directly peering with AS54 in that lab? Should be R6 right? You should check if the next hop informations are reachable by R5. If R5 does not know how to reach the 204.12.1.0/24 or 54.1.1.0/24 networks it cannot install the prefixes as best path and thus cannot route to them.

    R5 does know how to get to the next-hop (150.1.6.6). It gets from ospf through R4. But for some reason it keeps showing as inaccessible from R5 perspective.

     

    Please let me know if you want me to paste the  configs here.

  • Well,

     

    Finally I got it working. After few redistributions now the failover to 150.1.11.0 is working properly.

     

    But that's good though, we gotta think!
