More weird multicast on XR
I am doing lab 2 at the moment, did lab 1 yesterday on the same rack I am on today.
Group 232.100.100.100 is part of lab 1 yet it shows up in lab 2 table. R2 does not know about this group.

Comments
There are bugs in multicast in this particular XR release where the old information doesn’t get flushed out. Reboot the chassis from XR1 and it should fix it.

That's cool for practice but those GSRs take forever to boot, could be killer in the lab
Well, I did have something strange when I configured XR as a BSR & RP-candidate and then remove both the configuration, and make other router as BSR/RP-candidate. The IOS-XR didn't want to install the rp mapping information from other router.
it seems related to this Multicast bug on IOS-XR >.<, Brian, what can you suggest if this case happen in the Lab Exam? Since we're using 3.9.1 Version, and there is a potential Multicast Bug like this?
I don’t have any of the SMUs installed, so I’m not sure if that would fix the problem. I wouldn’t worry about bugs in the lab exam though. Whatever questions they’re asking will be qualified and tested on their particular hardware setup. Worst case scenario you could just configure a static RP address to override the bogus RP info stuck in the XR.

Hi Brian, do you think that my issue can be related to a bug: http://ieoc.com/forums/p/27264/228631.aspx#228631? Thanks
Thanks for the suggestion Brian
