Today i a got a ticket saying that null 0 interface down,
i dont understand what is mean by that,
can anyone will help me on this
"Ticket?" Can you provide any other info?
There is a null0 interface that gives you the ability to disable ip unreachables, but this interface cannot be shutdown. Weird..
Check this out:
I read today that deny ACE entries point to null0 so if you are interested in seeing the source/destination details of a deny ACE which could be achieved with the log keyword in the deny ACE, it's better to throw netflow on null0 and not take the performance hit that would be taken with logging denied traffic from an ACE.
