1.5 MPLS

I believe that this solution MUST include the command "mpls ldp router-id loop0 force". If you don't include this command, task 7.4 creates a Loopback with IP address 154.1.44.4 which will override that LDP router id (if the router is rebooted or session reset). The highest loopback with IP address 154.1.44.4 will not be advertised in the OSPF area and will break MPLS.

 

Any thoughts from other members?

  • Good point.  I agree.

  • I was already seeing the Loopbacks as /24 in the routing table. I manually changed the loopback subnet manually to /32 on both R4 and R5.  Tagged explicity-null for them after that.
