Issues downloading workbooks?

Just checking to see if there are any issues downloading the R&S workbooks for anyone else.  Anytime I click to download any of the links ( randomly checked from Vol 1 to 5 ), I get redirected to the member page and nothing more.

  • I didn't try that.  I'll try that as soon as I get back to my PC.

  • I tried right clicking on the download link with no luck unfortunately.  I escalated my support case, but still have not heard back.  I know it's memorial day, and I'm actually a Vet too, but I try to use the holidays as extra study time.

  • I'll have the support engineer who is in the office working today look into the issue with your account.   Do you have the ticket number so I can let him know?

  • OK.  So I finally get the issue resolved, but it was a headache in my opinion.  I purchased the AAP, and added the workbooks from there.  I was under the impression that anything purchased while having an AAP meant you keep them and receive updates as usual.  Well it appears not to be the case, and you must have an active AAP in order to continue to download the Workbooks.

If this was clearly stated anywhere while I was making my purchase, I wouldn't have been annoyed, but it wasn't.  It took the sales rep over 5 minutes to get clarification, which tells me it is not clearly defined whatsoever.  There was a post by Brian, but it was nowhere near the purchasing page, and not in the AAP FAQs page.  To me, this is misleading to anyone with the AAP.

After discussing the matter with the sales rep, who said she was talking with upper management, she said it would be updated so no one else has the same issue.

  • Thanks for trying to help Brian.  Luckily it seems everything has been squared away.

  • I'm running into the same problem too.  When I purchased my AAP for a few months last year, I also purchased the 12-day bootcamp, the R&S download, and the workbook add-on.  Now they're telling me that I have to have an active AAP subscription to get the updates?  I don't think that's fair, especially because that was never specified at the time of purchase.  What if my machine got erased and they got deleted - would I not be allowed to download again??
