BGP - Transiting Non-BGP Speakers - Tunneling

Hi

I think the Verification information is incorrect for this lab. Specifically, R1, R2 & R3 still show D EX Learnt routes for 204.12.1.0/24 (from R4) and 155.1.5.0/24 (from R5).

I think this would be the routing table *before* the Tunnel config was in place. After the tunnel was in place, and the iBGP peering was over the tunnel, the routing table would be as follows:

R1:
B 204.12.1.0/24 [20/0] via 155.1.146.4, 01:12:21
155.1.0.0/24 is subnetted, 5 subnets
C 155.1.146.0 is directly connected, FastEthernet1/0
D 155.1.23.0 [90/2681856] via 155.1.13.3, 01:13:24, Serial0/1
C 155.1.12.0 is directly connected, Tunnel1
C 155.1.13.0 is directly connected, Serial0/1
B 155.1.5.0 [200/0] via 155.1.12.2, 00:25:18

R2:
B 204.12.1.0/24 [200/0] via 155.1.12.1, 00:26:23
155.1.0.0/24 is subnetted, 5 subnets
C 155.1.23.0 is directly connected, Serial0/1
C 155.1.12.0 is directly connected, Tunnel1
D 155.1.13.0 [90/2681856] via 155.1.23.3, 01:13:53, Serial0/1
C 155.1.0.0 is directly connected, Serial0/0
B 155.1.5.0 [20/0] via 155.1.0.5, 00:39:32

This would mean traffic for R4 and R5's ethernet networks would use the iBGP route via the tunnel, insted of using the EIGRP learnt route via the serial.

Or am I missing something fundamental?
