Voice LAB Active Directory Schema

I've found in the videos the domain name and OU structure, but is there any details out there for the Voice LAB Active Directory setup? I have the domain controller running, just need to configure it accordingly. I can't find anything in the workbook files either.

Thanks,

Jim

  • Hi,

The Active Directory will not be provided on the voice lab, but sometime I feel it's a must to learn the integration of AD with CUCM and CUPC. If you have a AD running simply create a new OU and create some users inside there, don't waste time finding the same structure you saw on videos.

  • The LDAP integration is not part of the blueprint for the actual lab? I thought it was.

I'm familiar with LDAP anyway from our production CUCM setup. Is the AD needed for any of the INE Voice Workbooks?

  • While not many people are talking about it (which would seem to indicate that it isn't being tested), technically it does fall under the blueprint as a testable topic by Cisco, thus us choosing to cover it.

We do provide a MS AD LDAP at the global IP of 177.1.100.110 and the scheme and user/pass are all provided in our Voice Rack Rental Access Guide at http://ine.com/l/vo_rrag.
