prefix received on vpnv4 RRs
Hello,
we have two VPNV4 RRs in our network. but from some peers, number of prefix reveived in RR1 and RR2 are differs or only RR1 received routes and 0 prefix received on RR2 from same neighbor.
is this normal ? becauase of some routing issue?
how can i check?
thanks and regards,
sourabh

Different BGP peers will have different views of the network based on the BGP Bestpath Selection. This is normal and it is a scalability feature of BGP. If you want a more detailed response post the “show bgp vpnv4 unicast all” outputs from the RRs and the clients.
