Checking for buffer problems?
Have an interesting one here which I have never done before. I am working a while now with wan accelerators. They accelerate a TCP session over the WAN with 1,5Gbit/sec of bandwidth. Working good, sometimes the connection gets killed. Dont know really why. The manufacturer now said we should check our buffers. The buffer of the WAN accelerator appliance has a size of 4,5Mbyte.
Does anyone have an idea how I can check the size or even perform a check of the buffers, what they can do and what not?
I only know the buffers really from SAN with the B2B credits of a path in a SAN.
Maybe someone of you has a good dosument or any blog entry about such things.
Thanks in advance!
