Call can go through but Dialed Number Analyzer Results is blcoking

Hello all,

I make a call from 17752012012(CIPC registered in CUCM in R2) to phone 13122012222 (PSTN number in PSTN router). The call doesn't have any problem. I try to use the DNA to analyze how it flows and found that it's being blocked. I change  the CSS in the input and get the same result. I checked my translation pattern and route pattern and I didn't find any "block this pattern". I was doing some RL/RG/RP and  CSS/PARTITION. It is probably relevant. I want to know why the DNA  said it's blcoking and generally how to find out where blocks it. I will follow the DNA and some logs from the router. Thanks!

  • DNA stating a Block when you don't have any patterns (that match the dialed digits) set to block, typically is the result of some sort of routing loop where a call gets caught in a loop amongst TPs. Check your CSS/PT and evaluate any possible loops.

  • perhaps you are actually dialing a 9 or 8 prefix on the phone?  If so you have to match that in DNA.  Another thought: in DNA you only you selected a line CSS, but perhaps your actual phone has a line and device CSS configured?

  • Thank you. Scott and Mike!

Scott you are right about the prefix 9. It shows "RouteThisPattern" once I put the prefix 9 in the DNA to test. I am sorry for making this kind of mistake! And thanks again. It really bothers me for a long time.

       Problem sovled. Thank you.

  • Not a problem.
