Task8.2: Alternative Solution

My alternative solution was to add the following to the previously create frame-relay map-class on both R2 and R4:

frame ip rtp priority 16384 16383 192

map-class on R2 and R4 now look like:

map-class frame-relay R2->R4
frame-relay cir 512000
frame-relay bc 5120
frame-relay fragment 640
frame-relay ip rtp priority 16384 16383 192
frame-relay fair-queue

    can you tell me how they calcultated the fragement size 640?????what the calculation???

  • fragment size should be "bc/8=640"
    It's maximum frame size per 1 Tc in Bytes

    Yes, I did this as well, however, and unfortunately for us, it's wrong because we were asked to prioritise traffic from VLAN 46 not all traffic.

    My problem is that I read "coming from VLAN 46" as being a direction and not a source network as well.
