router rip authentication advanced technologies class ver 4.0

I am going through the advanced technologies class ver 4.0

I have completed module 2 lesson 11 RIP filtering

at the end of the class it advise we will look at rip authenticatuon next, however the next class is Module 2 Lesson 12: EIGRP Overview

did the router rip authentication class get bumped?

  • If I remember correctly, the missing class was supposed to be covering RIP Authentication and Conditional Default route injection.

     

    But once you done with EIGRP and OSPF I am pretty sure you won't feel bad about the missing class anymore [;)]

    There is certainly not whole lot of magic when it comes to RIP though,but otherwise the authentication is pretty much same as in EIGRP except that doesn't support plain text authentication. Not sure if it use to earlier [:P]
