CCIE LAB result

Hi,

Does anyone know what is SLA for CCIE LAB result in general ?

Does CISCO make any mistakes while presenting LAB to student ? If so, who takes the ownership of the mistake?

Waiting for replies or to share similar experience you may have

Nandu

Also does anyone have a sample test result report, how deep do they do in telling you about your mistakes (in case of an unfortunate fail) ? I don't mind if someone shares the report taking any of the personal details out.

  • If someone were to post their actual report – they would be technically violating the NDA they signed – so we do not want that. J

Here is what you can expect from the report….

TS Section - PASS or FAIL (If the result is FAIL, you can expect a % correct)

CONFIG Section – PASS or FAIL

If FAIL – a % of correct for each category:

  • Regarding the initial question - yes - Cisco can indeed make a mistake in presenting the lab to a student. For example, a Diagram or task wording may be incorrect.

It is up to the student to catch such a mistake and report it to the proctor immediately.

Any ideas how frequently does that happen, sometimes it takes a bit of time when you are thinking in your head whether it's a genuine mistake from cisco OR it's a tricky question looking like a mistake but perhaps there is a solution they want you to work on. And by the time you realise it was a mistake you may have wasted X amount of time, do you get that compensated ?

Thanks for responding. although it sounds like the results can be a little more verbose but I think that would kill the purpose of a "RECHECK" option, which I am assuming cisco sells as a service.

  • Mistakes are less and less common - thank goodness.

If there is a major hardware issue (or software for that matter) with your lab - they will provide additional time to the candidate.
