EtherChannel Mode is "ON"

Hi,

Like to know if I do a "channel-group 14 mode on" at both end of the switches, is there any EtherChannel protocol involved in setting up the EtherChannel?

etherchannel mode on disables both Pagp and Lacp. No etherchanel negotiation protocol get involve.
