  • Hi,

Make sure to have unicast connectivity on those two subnets (try and reload involved machines one by one); this is dynamips related for sure.

All the best and good luck with your studies,

  • I just wanted to add my experience since I am redoing this Lab. I
spent hrs fixing this issue around 5 months back and I found a way out
    of creating SVI's for both vlan 105 & vlan 107 on SW1 & SW4
using same ip's as on interface and adding those interface on those
    vlan's.

    This will fix this issue.

  • wrong post, sorry.

  • Hi,

I have the same problem with dynamips wb2-lab1 with switch4 fa1/12. When I started loading the device one by one with lab1 initial configs, switch4 started to show this error.

Is this part of the lab tasks on later part? or should there be no error from the beginning?

How will I fix this by configuration?

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

I just like to confirm regarding your solution you gave here.

Original Config: SW1 fa1/8 no switchport, ip address=183.1.107.7/24 changed to switchport access vlan107

and create SVI int vlan107 with ip address=183.1.107.7/24

and on original config of Switch4 fa1/12 no switchport, ip address=183.1.105.10/24 changed to switchport access vlan 105

and create SVI int vlan 105 with ip address=183.1.105.10/24 ?

Is this what you mean with the solution?

So that means we changed the initial config to resolve the issue? because this problem occured while loading the lab1 initial configs.

    Please advice.

    Thanks,

Once in a while, I have had an issue with this -- after pausing my lab, and then restarting it later.  If your ip addressing is correct it is some kind of Dynamips glitch.

My eventual remedy was to shutdown the related interfaces, and  no shut them.    Problem went away instantly.

  • I have experienced this too, the way I fixed it was to reboot the devices.

  • rebooting will mostly fix the issue, if it cannot fix it by reloading then you have to delete temp files created by that particular device to fix this issue.

  • Thanks to all your advice.

    Fixed by shut/no shut.
