ospf default route metric

Hi,

is there any difference between the following set of commands?

#1

router ospf 1

area 2 nssa default-information-originate metric 500

#2

router ospf 1

area 2 nssa default-information-originate

area 2 default-cost 500

The only difference I can see is that #2 will set the metric for the deafult-route even if the area no longer is an NSSA whereas #1 only sets the metric for NSSA. Is this correct?

Many thanks!

Eduardo
