EIGRP K Values

Can some one explain the impact of setting up EIGRP K values more than 1 along with some practical difference. As K value can be anything between 0-255.

  • The K values impact the EIGRP metric per the formula:
    EIGRP Metric = 256*((K1*Bw) + (K2*Bw)/(256-Load) + (K3*Delay)*(K5/(Reliability + K4)))

Setting K1 to a value of 4 makes BW 4 times more "important" or "significant" in the creation of the metric.
