    You will see, in many of these solutions, that there are many different ways of doing these tasks. If you've seen that leaving the "deny all prefixes" prefix-list portion of your solution works, then you've successfully completed the task.

    I'm a little confused by the last part of this explanation: "If you specify the no-prepend keyword, any routes received from the eBGP peer will not have <OldAS> prepended upon reception. By default, the AS number specified with the local-as command (<OldAS>) is prepended to all updates received, to avoid potential routing loops

  • Forward Address Selection/Suppression

    I'm trying to make sure I understand exactly how an ASBR sets the forwarding address on a Type 7 LSA, and am not quite putting the final pieces of the puzzle together. I'm using INEs standard ATC Workbook topology and running EIGRP between R9 and R7. I'm setting R7 as an ASBR, and neighboring him with R3 and R6 in an NSSA. According to http
