    QOS-MQC Hierarchical Policers

    Hello,

    I'm running through the workbook v5, and i litle bit confused regarding the answers for this topic,

    The way i configured this :

    Policy Map SUB_POLICY

        Class FROM_R1

         police cir percent 20

           conform-action set-prec-transmit 1

           exceed-action set-prec-transmit 0

           violate-action set-prec-transmit 0

        Class FROM_R6

         police cir 64000 bc 2000 be 2000

           conform-action set-prec-transmit 1

           exceed-action set-prec-transmit 0

           violate-action set-prec-transmit 0

      Policy Map VLAN146

        Class HTTP

         police cir 128000 bc 4000 be 4000

           conform-action transmit

           exceed-action set-prec-transmit 0

           violate-action drop

          service-policy SUB_POLICY

    The answer in INE is:

    policy-map SUBRATE_POLICER
     class FROM_R1
      police 64000 3200 4800
       conform-action set-prec-transmit 1
       exceed-action set-prec-transmit 0
       violate-action set-prec-transmit 0
     class FROM_R6
      police 64000 3200 4800
       conform-action set-prec-transmit 1
       exceed-action set-prec-transmit 0
       violate-action set-prec-transmit 0
    !
    policy-map POLICE_VLAN146
     class HTTP
       police 128000 3200 4800
        conform-action transmit
        exceed-action set-prec-transmit 0
        violate-action drop
       service-policy SUBRATE_POLICER
    my question is where this numbers from? The question task not given us any tc to calculate the bc anc be,
    Am i correct if i configure only police without any additional bc , be , leave this to colculate automaticlly,
    anu one have a simple way to understand the bc be an PIR on police?

    BR
