    SVI interface is up/down

    Hi Folks,

I've created an SVI interface and it's up/down (this SVI is only been used for Management purposes), see the below:

How can I get the SVI up/up.

I've no need to assign an int to this vlan, or create it as a access / trunk int.

    See the below:

    #sh int vlan 5
Vlan5 is up, line protocol is down

    interface Vlan5
description ### WiFi Management Vlan ###
     ip address 10.x.x.129 255.255.255.192

I've created the vlan also, see the below

    sh vlan

    VLAN Name                             Status    Ports
    ---- -------------------------------- --------- -------------------------------

    5    WIFI_MANAGEMENT                  active

I'm using the below IOS on a 3750

    Re: SVI interface is up/down

    Hi Mark,

Do you have VLAN 5 assigned to an access port or allowed on a trunk port and the switchport(s) are in the up/up state?
