    Multiple context - SNMP

We have a ASA pair with several user contexts.

We have an NMS reachable via the mgmt 0/0 port in the admin context.

Once we configure snmp in the admin context it will send traps regarding the interface status of interfaces assigned to the admin context.

So, now my question is, when we assign interfaces to the other user contexts, and their interfaces go up/down, how can we send traps to the same NMS via the mgt 0/0 port in the admin context?

    Re: Multiple context - SNMP

As long as the NMS is reachable by the other contexts then you should be able to send traps to it. We have a similar setup and send traps from multiple contexts. Try pinging the NMS from the other contexts.
