    5.2 Static RP

    Hello,

In the SG, there is an "ip pim sparse-mode" under the MSDP loopback, unlike in the DocCD, i did not put it and it works.

    I think it is unnecessary.

    Re: 5.2 Static RP

The wording of this task mentions that you should "Configure R6 and SW2 to use R4 150.X.0.255 as the RP for all multicast groups". As far as I know, the whole point to anycast is that you don't care where the RP is and just use the closest one. If this one goes down, you can always shift to the next closest one. Of course when reversing SW2 and R6 in the verification, the msds sa-cache entry shows up on R5 and not R4.

    Re: 5.2 Static RP

    Hi,

it is a type, will be fixed in the May updates; the task should say use "150.x.0.255" as RP and NOT "R4 150.x.0.255".
