There's no great single answer for that, because any lab can be completely different from any other lab.   It's just up to the whims of whatever evil *** wrote it.  ;)

While it's good to 'see what's configured' I wouldn't spend lots of time on it.

Typically the rules of engagement will prohibit changing encapsulation or addressing unless otherwise directed. If there is an apparent error it could be something you need to change, but it could be something you need to work around.

The first thing to do for the lab portion is to check the addressing on all of your interfaces and compare the drawings you are provided - the addressing should agree. If there are differences, let the proctor know - you may have the wrong initial configuration for your lab assignment.

As per instruction sheet we can't change the initial configs, until explicilty stated in question, if we find any mismatch, we can clarify with proctor, but any how we can't play with initial configs. almost Switching/IGP/BGP will be already configured there, need to troubleshoot the problems, but it depends on design of LAB questions, we can't predict how much will be configured there.

    well thanks for the response

i like to clear my doubt little more,

lets say there is an access list blocking BGP to form the relationship

or there is ospf dead timer been specified on one side of neighbour interface

so can we remove the access list from the config

and also dead timer to changed or removed from the neighbour ???

Hope for best prepare for worst

No we can't remove anything from initial config, need to add permit statement not remove the acl, and same for OSPF timers, we can match the timers at other end.

Read the instructions page throughly, you will get the answer of these questions. i think better to prepare OEQ rather than asking these questions

    Big Smile :) heeheehehe
