    Lab 2 ticket 5 traceroute...

    Hi,

In the solutions guide we remove a policy-map from R3 - but the question say's "admin in charge of networks behind BB3 cannot reach R5 via tracert" - from BB3 to R5 via R4  - what has R3 or anything on the other side of R5 got to do with this question...?

Surely it is just about BB3 r4 r5 and switches holding them together..?

    can someone please explain..

    thanks for your time,

    Lee

Either I am really really tired, or this is PATHETIC!!!!

First the description is wrong!   The task mentions BB3 & the solution guide states R3.   Second, I just pulled down the latest configs and don't see a local policy for R3.

Please tell me it's my lack of sleep and not INE's lack of QA.

I ran into the same problem. It is the mistake in the solution guide.Solution has nothing to do with R3.I am finding lot of mistakes in the troubleshooting labs.

Hello, the SG is right about the location of the problem, but i had to remove the icmp rate-limit to solve the issue.

the solutions guide refers to an "evil trick".  The evil trick in my experience being that there was no local policy or rate-limiting applied anywhere - hence no problem!  Do I still get the points?
