    MDT Question

    Hello

    I have one question:

On my labs i see this error:

    %MDT-4-LBSRC : MDT [chars] uses source address [IP_address] from a non-loopback interface

Explanation    The local peering interface used to set up MDT tunnel is not a loopback Interface. This may cause blackholes if the interface is in the outgoing list of the MDT group.

Recommended Action    Change the configuration of bgp update-source and use a loopback interface as the local peering interface.

but i configure all bgp session with update loopback,  is there some other way to do this?

    Regards.

What is your BGP peering address? The connected interface or the loopback?

    Re: MDT Question

It is probably IOS "feature". Try adding:

    "bgp next-hop loopbackX"

    in VRF configuration.

    Re: MDT Question

You may find sparse-mode has not been enabled on the loopback

    Thanks
