    Hello

    I have one Question:

     

    this is my  situation: i ve connect a router to switch 3550 the interface at sw is configure no switchport...ip add x.x.x.x between router and sw spoke rip rip work fine

    but the router can not ping to ip add of switch what is my problem?

    If the router and switch are directly connected on the port configured with "no switchport", and both ends are in the same subnet, you should be able to ping.

    If the router is not directly connected to the "no switchport" port, there must be routing in place for both directions (switch -> router & router -> switch).

    My switch is direct connect to the routers but i can not a ping switch to router or router to switch.

    My switch configuration is

    interface fa0/2

    no switchport

    ip add 10.10.10.2 255.255.255.0

    Are those two boxes on the same subnet? Is the interface in UP/UP state on both ends?

    Is it a real hardware or dynamips?

    Yeah is a real hardware and two equipment is same subnets.

    When router have a ping to Switch, Switch try a replay but don´t have, i have a debug ip packet detail i see in switch unroutable for this network, but Router and Switch is a same subnet and direct connect.

    when i put show cdp neighbor i see the connect routers directed, i have running rip fine but can´t response a ping, i see unroutable.
