    INE LAB 10.51 workbook 1

    Going through this lab mapping the cos 1-4 , 6-7 to queue 2 doesn't match the output in the verification setting when logging at the dscp-input-q

    this is from the INE workbook.

    here my config

    mls qos srr-queue input bandwidth 10 30
    mls qos srr-queue input priority-queue 1 bandwidth 15
    mls qos srr-queue input cos-map queue 1 threshold 1 5
    mls qos srr-queue input cos-map queue 2 threshold 1 1 2 3 4 6 7

    the below out is correct, but again it doens't match what it is in the book. Is the book in error?

    book says dscp 48 and 56 which maps to cos 6 7 should be mapped to queue 2 but the output in my rack doesn't show that. Anyone else experience this?

    In MLS, there are some default configurations and it may not be seen in the output. I think 6 7 are reserved for the control plane traffic and it already defaults to the heighest queue, i.e. 2. ( Correct me if i'm wrong). 

    Also make sure that the INE lab an your home lab have same IOS Version. If these are samme & you are not getting the right output, please let us know.

    Been overlooking a lot of stuff in the qos section but I want to say something about this one.

     

    • Map all packets marked with CoS values of 5 to the priority queue.
    • Ensure that all other packets map to the non-priority queue.

     

    SG:
