    Dynamips Operations - Could not start

    Greetings everyone;

    I am new to the forum and looking forward to getting acquinted with the participants. I am also new to IE, and I am looking forward to learing more and more everyday.

    As a first step, I installed dynamips exactly as instructed in the IE web site on my Vista Thinkpad 32 bit. When ever I start the Dynamip server, two DOS windows comes up and disappear instantanously. Ran the command from cmd window to see what the message is and said could create lock file "c3640_i0_lock" file.

    I am still in the beginning of my studies and this really important to get me going. I truly appreciate what any one can help with in terms of past experiences or pointers that I can use to troubleshoot this issue.

    Anwar
