I understand very well the vtp pruning ,but when I am trying to solve the part
1.10 VTP Pruning in Workbook vol 1
in the verification I don't understand the part of
show interface trunk | begin prunedin some ports I find Vlan 1 forwarding and others no
I understand that Vlan 1 is prune ineligible but I can't understand this output !

Hi Ghada,
The first question assumes two things:
1) You have access to the physical topology diagram (cabling) which could be found under you members account or discovered dynamically
2) You have access to the logical topology diagram with VLAN numbers and IP addressing (found under the members account as well).
The first diagram will allow you to identify the router ports and the trunk links. The second diagram will give you the VLAN to port mapping, which could be learned from the subnets assigned to the links. Using this information you can configure access and trunk ports.
